Everett ThompsonC. Everett Thompson, II, was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.  He was admitted to North Carolina bar in 1973, and also admitted to United States District Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, U. S. Supreme Court. He has appeared in over 300 jury trials and numerous appellate cases.

 Everett is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, BA, 1968, and Wake Forest School of Law, JD 1973, where he was a founding member of Moot Court.  He was also an officer in U.S. Navy. Memberships: Member of the North Carolina Bar Association; Member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice; Member of the American Association for Justice; Lecturer at seminars of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice; Wake Forest Tort Seminar, author of "Wrongful Death" Wake Forest Tort Seminar, 2000, 2002 & 2006. Member of 1st Judicial District Bar Association; past member of the Board of Governors of the N.C. Academy of Trial Lawyers; member of the North Carolina State Bar Council; certified mediator in 1997, served as mediator in over 400 cases.
